Coal Notes 1

Coal Notes 1 Intervention on site. The barlines of the manuscript are scored into the sand with one of the coal notes. These were collected on site from the displaced Coal River on the harbourside, above the shoreline. The contours of the manuscript are influenced by the changing curve of the tide and on this occasion the regularity of manuscript. The coal notes are placed with some consideration, it became a focus that there should be notes within each bar, including above and below the barline. It is noted that there a few notes on the barlines.
